About the JobThe role of a Support Worker is highly rewarding and offers opportunities for growth and development. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Providing personalized support to customers with daily living activities, personal care, and food preparation
- Developing and maintaining relationships with customers, colleagues, and other professionals
- Contributing to the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment
- Participating in staff development programs and undertaking mandatory training relevant to the service
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Care Certificate or equivalent skills and experience with a willingness to undertake required training
- General level of education to GCSE A*-C or equivalent skills and experience
- Empathy with the elderly and/or people with a disability and an understanding of their needs
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Effective communication both written and oral
