Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Waking Night Support Worker to join our team in Birmingham. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and happiness of our young residents. With a strong focus on person-centred care, we strive to create a nurturing environment that promotes growth and development.
Key Responsibilities- Support the waking night shift team in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our young people.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualised care plans, promoting personal growth and autonomy.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Level 3 Children's and Young People's Award or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
- Experience working in a residential childcare environment (desired).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
