IT Support Specialist

The Belfry Hotel & Resort is a leading hospitality provider seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join its team. As a key member of the technical operations team, you will provide first- and second-level IT support to staff, ensuring seamless business operations.
About the Role
The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for:
- Providing onsite IT support for staff
- Building, rolling out, and replacing PCs and hardware/software
- Setting up and managing mobile devices and tablets
- Liaising with 3rd party IT service providers
- Maintaining on-premise and cloud-based Active Directory
- Managing user accounts, including new user creation and processing leavers and movers
- Maintaining an updated asset inventory, including PCs, phones, PDQs, and printers
- Continuously improving IT documentation and policies
- Assisting Operations with daily IT issues as needed
- Supporting and implementing new IT projects
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2+ years of experience in 1st and 2nd line IT support
- Good knowledge of Windows PCs, PC builds, mobile phones, and MS Office suite
- Good knowledge of Active Directory, MFA, Azure AD/365, and Intune
- Basic network awareness and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarisation of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Familiarisation of monitoring tools and ticketing software
- ITIL certification (advantageous)
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- Keen to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
