About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Climate Change Project Lead and lead our carbon reduction efforts on the Sizewell C project. As part of our Quality function within the Project Delivery Organisation (PDO), you will ensure compliance with the Integrated Management System (IMS) and regulatory Licence Conditions.

You will be responsible for creating and implementing an opportunities register aligning with PAS2080, supporting the development of carbon management resource and document templates, designing and implementing carbon training within the project team and supply chain, and embedding carbon management within various project functions and processes.

You will also be responsible for project client carbon reporting & deliverables, providing support and guidance to project teams on carbon assessment and carbon impacts, managing and supporting the development and submission of low carbon enhancements and incentive business cases and implementation, and supporting technical delivery groups on low carbon fuel, asphalt, concrete and steel.

Salary

£70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A good understanding of carbon reporting standards, guidance and regulatory regimes for example PAS 2080 (2023).
  • Proficiency in Office applications and use of analytical tools.
  • An understanding of the benefits of working collaboratively to obtain the best outcome for the project.
  • Determination to see tasks through to completion, with excellent planning and organisation skills.
