Job Overview
This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our team as a specialist Occupational Therapist in stroke and neurology rehabilitation. Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team, you will provide high-quality assessments and treatment plans for adults with various stroke and neurological conditions.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist occupational therapy assessments and treatment plans for adults with stroke and neurological conditions.
- Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Educate and train other healthcare professionals, students, support workers, and carers on occupational therapy principles and best practices.
Person Specification
Essential qualifications include a BSc/Diploma in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration. You must also have significant post-graduate experience, evidence of treating stroke and neurological conditions, and experience working in physical rehabilitation. Excellent communication skills and time management are essential.
