About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Control Manager to join our team at Thrifty Car & Van Rental. As a leader with a minimum of 5 years' experience in team management and development, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing our credit control strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organising, planning and implementing financial control strategies to ensure timely and accurate debt collection.
  • Maintaining precise financial records and delivering accurate management information to inform business decisions.
  • Ensuring adherence to debt collection processes and procedures to minimize risk and maximize returns.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to enhance and optimize financial control processes and procedures.
  • Evaluating customer creditworthiness and making informed decisions regarding approval or denial of credit.
  • Approving payment plans and establishing terms and conditions to ensure fair and transparent financial arrangements.
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to existing team members, encompassing motivation, development, workload monitoring and continuous skill and career advancement.
  • Generating high-level financial reports related to debt positions to inform business strategy.
  • Liaising with internal legal counsel as necessary to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
