Job Summary:
Lloyd Barnes Accountancy Recruitment is seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing cash collections, meeting targets, and handling related administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cash collections from debtor's ledger, meeting agreed targets and handling related administration and reporting tasks.
- Chase debts via phone, email, and letter, and launch and chase resolution of collection-related queries.
- Update customer notes in finance software and send routine customer correspondence, including statements and final demands.
- Build and maintain relationships to facilitate cash collections and be accountable for cash collection figures against monthly targets.
- Monitor and manage aged debtor levels, oversee unallocated credits and cash input, and ensure high accuracy in administrative tasks and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proven previous experience of working in a similar position, with excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
- Ability to operate credit control software, email, documents, and databases, producing business-quality reports.
- Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic and ability to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
