Financial Assistant Specialist

At Emmerson Ross Recruitment, we are seeking a Financial Assistant Specialist to join our client's award-winning accountancy firm in Devon. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for accounts and taxation to work in a busy office in Newton Abbot.
About the RoleThis Junior Accountant position involves preparing annual accounts and tax computations for businesses, maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. You will also correspond with clients via email and telephone, liaising with HMRC as needed.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role, be qualified or working towards an AAT qualification, and possess strong IT skills. Experience requirements include relevance and current experience in accounts and tax return preparation, at least 2 years of accountancy practice experience, and strong IT skills.
Key Responsibilities- Preparing annual accounts and tax computations for businesses

- Corresponding with clients via email and telephone

The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
