Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective health and safety strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
- Investigate incidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of safety data and metrics.
- Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Proven experience in health and safety management, preferably in a facilities management or construction industry setting.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, including OHSAS 18001 and ISO 45001.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends to inform safety strategies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
- Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle for business travel.
