Simon Acres Recruitment is working with a well-established Builders Merchant based in East Devon, who are seeking a skilled Plumbing and Heating Sales Manager to join their team.
The Role:This is a permanent position paying up to £35,000 basic (DOE), plus bonus. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing the plumbing and heating customer base, generating new business within the branch, over the phone, and occasionally visiting customers.
- Provide quotations for customers and follow up on sales enquiries and quotes.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, purchasing materials, and managing stock levels for the category.
- Deal with customers face-to-face and over the telephone, providing excellent customer service and sound product advice.
- Continually develop and update product knowledge to stay ahead in the industry.
The successful candidate should have sound plumbing and heating product knowledge, previous sales experience in a plumbing and heating merchant environment, and a proactive, ambitious, go-getter attitude.
- Strong sales experience and excellent product knowledge.
- Personable, approachable, and driven, with a genuine commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to develop and maintain great customer relationships and be computer literate.
