Plumbing and Heating Manager

Cooper Golding is seeking an experienced Plumbing and Heating Manager to join our team in Exmouth. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading our plumbing and heating services, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction, and driving sales growth.
About the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in the plumbing and heating industry. As a Plumbing and Heating Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and resolving any issues promptly.
- Driving sales growth through quotation follow-ups, promotional selling, and telephone marketing.
- Advising management on process improvements for optimal efficiency.
- Monitoring customer credit limits and payments, liaising with management as needed.
- Staying updated on product technology and regulations, identifying training needs.
- Supporting colleagues in resolving customer complaints.
- Addressing stock shortages and ensuring prompt, polite telephone service.
- Communicating concerns about task safety and effectiveness to management.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant experience of 2 years minimum in a deputy management position or similar level of responsibility.
- Extensive experience in the plumbing and heating industry, with a deep understanding of products, services, and market trends.
- Strong background in customer relationship management, developing true partnership approaches, and providing excellent product advice.
- Ability to interpret financial and statistical information, with a good understanding of P&L (Profit and Loss) statements.
