We are seeking a highly skilled Community Engagement Specialist to join our team in Colchester. As a key member of our Community Team, you will be responsible for delivering mentoring sessions within schools, creating engaging content for mentors, and supporting various health and inclusion programs.

The successful candidate will work closely with our team to provide crucial support to students facing challenges, helping them achieve their full potential. You will require tenacity and creativity to overcome obstacles and challenges presented when working within sport and community environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver high-quality mentoring resources for use in delivery.">
  • Deliver high-quality 1-2-1 and small group mentoring sessions.">
  • Support CUCF in managing relationships with schools and community organizations.">
  • Collaborate with partners to ensure a unified approach.">

Requirements

Essential qualifications and experience include:

  • ">
  • Youth Mental Health First Aider qualification or willingness to complete.">
  • Experience in youth work, mentoring, or a similar role within education or community settings.">
  • Strong communication and rapport-building skills.">
  • Willingness to undertake a CUFC Enhanced DBS Check.">
  • Full UK Driving License.">

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including:
