We are currently recruiting for a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to join our highly successful and innovative NHS Talking Therapies service in Wakefield. Our team provides evidence-based psychological therapies, and we are looking for an individual who specialises in working with adults with long-term health conditions.

The ideal candidate will have an NHS Talking Therapies qualification as a PWP and registration with either the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) or the British Psychological Society (BPS). They will also possess outstanding written and telephone communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

As a key member of our team, you will be working closely with our clinical team to maintain our high standard and help us develop this further. You will be delivering step 2 low-intensity interventions within our stepped care model for treating individuals with mild to moderate common mental health problems.

About the Role

We offer a competitive salary of £32,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as flexible working arrangements and incentivised rates of pay for weekend working.

You will also receive access to ongoing training and development opportunities, including supervision, cultural diversity, and leadership training. Our wellbeing working group organises events and initiatives to support staff wellbeing, making this a great place to work.

We provide 31 days' paid holiday per year, increasing with each year of service up to 33 days. You will also receive a one-off joining bonus of £1,200 - terms and conditions apply.
