Job Overview

We are a specialist NHS Foundation Trust that provides community, mental health, and learning disability services across West Yorkshire. We are committed to helping people reach their potential and live well in their communities.

The role of Senior Mental Health Practitioner involves working with Children, Young People, and Carers in a mental health or complex care setting. Our ideal candidate will have post-qualification training in identified portfolios, such as Dip SW or relevant mental health profession, and a postgraduate qualification in mental health, e.g., CBT, Family Therapy, or Counselling.

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of children, young people, and their families. As part of our Enhanced Outreach Team, you will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, creating care plans, and providing therapeutic interventions to support young people in our care.

You will also provide clinical supervision to colleagues and offer in-reach support to The Croft, a residential home in the Ackworth area of Wakefield. A current driving license and access to a car during working hours are essential.

Estimated Salary: £38,890 - £44,884 per annum (dependent on experience).
