Teaching Assistant Job Description

Milk Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Springfield. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teachers and SEN children in achieving their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual support to SEN children, promoting inclusion and acceptance in the classroom.
  • Work closely with the teacher to plan, evaluate, and adjust lessons to meet the needs of all children.
  • Deliver catch-up sessions and ensure that children are on task and completing their work to a good standard.
Requirements:
  • Recent experience supporting children in an education or social care setting.
  • Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Passion for education and ability to work under the guidance of the teacher.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
