Teaching Assistant Opportunity

Milk Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Hindley Green. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teachers and providing individualized support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one support to children with SEN, promoting inclusion and acceptance in the classroom.
  • Work closely with the teacher to plan, evaluate, and adjust lessons to meet the needs of all students.
  • Deliver catch-up sessions and ensure that students are on task and meeting expectations.
  • Support the teacher in maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements:
  • Recent experience supporting children in an educational setting.
  • Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact on students' lives.
  • Ability to work under the guidance of the teacher and as part of a team.
