Milk Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Hindley Green. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teachers and providing individualized support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote a culture of inclusion and acceptance in the classroom
  • Support children with SEN in a one-to-one setting, responding to their individual needs and promoting their learning
  • Collaborate with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluation, and adjustment
  • Deliver catch-up sessions to support children who require additional support
  • Work closely with the teacher to ensure that children are on task and making progress
Requirements:
  • Recent experience supporting children in an education or social care setting
  • Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
  • Passion for education and a commitment to supporting children with SEN
  • Ability to work under the guidance of the teacher and as part of a team
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Two suitable references covering the last two years
