About the Role

As a Disability Assessor, you'll conduct thorough assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. You'll produce detailed reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals with physical and mental health conditions, chronic pain disorders, and other disabilities.
  2. Produce high-quality, factual reports that accurately reflect the individual's abilities and limitations.
  3. Work collaboratively with the client to ensure a quality and respectful assessment process.
  4. Utilize computer software to type and produce detailed reports.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  1. An NMC-registered adult or mental health nurse with at least 1 year's broad post-registration experience in the UK.
  2. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  4. Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.
