Optima Plus Recruitment: A Permanent Learning Support Mentor Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Mentor to join our team at Optima Plus Recruitment. This is a permanent position aimed at supporting students with learning difficulties and disabilities, empowering them to achieve greater independence and success in their studies.

The successful candidate will collaborate with subject lecturers and assessors to support students in various learning environments, including both classroom and off-site settings. They will also assist students in accessing curricula by adapting resources such as enlarging text, using enabling technologies, and offering note-taking or word processing support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with subject lecturers and assessors to support students in various learning environments
  • Assist students in accessing curricula by adapting resources
  • Empower students to meet their personalised learning outcomes
  • Provide support beyond the classroom
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and support activities

Salary: We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
