Job Title: Academic Subject Leader

Location: Cambridge

We are seeking an experienced Humanities Teacher to join our team as an Academic Subject Leader at a Good Mixed School in Cambridge. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well-resourced department, teaching KS3 and KS4 students.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the Key Stage and contributing to the development of the curriculum. Our school has a strong focus on academic excellence and provides excellent support for staff and students alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To teach Humanities subjects to KS3 and KS4 students
  • To coordinate the Key Stage and contribute to curriculum development
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental goals

Requirements:

  • A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
  • Experience of teaching Humanities subjects at KS3 and KS4
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience
