**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Pastoral Leader at PSM Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our residential team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support and care to our students.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise students during working hours, maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
  2. Assist with medication administration and provide basic first aid treatment as needed.
  3. Participate in social, sporting, and other activities for students, promoting teamwork and camaraderie.
  4. Work closely with the Housemaster/Mistress to ensure effective communication and coordination of student activities.
  5. Provide support and guidance to students on a daily basis, promoting their academic, personal, and social development.
  6. Maintain accurate records and reports, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Requirements:

  • A good basic level of education up to GCSE/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with students in a professional setting is desirable.
  • Familiarity with NVQ or BSA qualifications is advantageous.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, exercising initiative and judgment in challenging situations.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in response to changing circumstances.
  • A professional approach based on integrity, discretion, and respect for confidentiality.
  • The ability to empathize with students and maintain a sense of humor under pressure.

Estimated Salary: £17,660 per annum, including holiday pay based on 40 weeks of the year.
