About the Role

VMCH is seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team of highly skilled professionals in an Early Childhood Intervention service. This full-time position provides services to children and their families aged 0-12 years.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Speech Pathologist to expand their career in the Allied Health space.

About You

As a VMCH Speech Pathologist, you will:

  • Work as part of a trans-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality services to families and children.
  • Provide key worker support to families and children, including evidence-informed intervention strategies, standardized assessments, and parent training.
  • Undertake face-to-face consultations and relationship building in natural environments, schools, and kindergartens.
  • Liaise and collaborate with a transdisciplinary team to design and deliver comprehensive support plans.

Skills & Experience

  • A relevant qualification in Speech Pathology and registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Experience in speech pathology assessment and service delivery.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide effective consultative skills and coach other team members.
  • A current Working with Children Check, NDIS Screening Clearance, and full driver's license.
