The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and young adults, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. As a Lead Residential Care Manager for Young People, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our residential care homes, including managing staff, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating activities.
We offer a competitive salary of up to £14.50 per hour, dependent on experience/qualifications, as well as opportunities for professional development and career progression. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of residential care workers
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Coordinate activities and ensure a safe and welcoming environment
- Work closely with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for young people
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- A full UK driving licence
- A desire to earn a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification
- 12 months experience working in a residential setting (desirable)
