Police Staff Investigator PIP Level 1

We are seeking an experienced Investigator to join our team at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary. As a Police Staff Investigator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our front-line officers with a wide range of investigative activities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct investigative activities, including statement taking, securing and reviewing CCTV, suspect interviewing, and file building.
- Work collaboratively with current investigators to deal with serious and complex crimes.
- Support the area Criminal Investigation Departments with action team work.
- Develop and maintain resilience in a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for individuals with proven experience of working within an investigatory type role, ideally with a working knowledge and experience of Criminal Law and Criminal Justice procedures.
This role will suit an experienced Detective or Police Constable, Detective or Police Sergeant, Detective or Police Inspector, Police Staff Investigator or Civilian Investigator looking to deploy skills and experience built up through previous police service.
