About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team at North West London Integrated Care Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial management support to the Deputy Head of Finance and Head of Finance, ensuring the robust delivery of financial reporting requirements and providing information and analysis to support the financial position of the ICB.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work as a senior member of the Finance Team to support the delivery of financial reporting requirements and provide information and analysis to support the financial position of the ICB.
  • Lead on the production of the monthly management cost reporting for NWL and assist with the annual budget setting process for corporate services.
  • Provide support in preparing and developing financial plans for expenditure that supports the service and business planning objectives of the ICB.
  • Identify and manage financial risks and develop mitigation plans to support the achievement of ICB financial control totals.
  • Support the development of efficient and effective processes within the ICB finance function.

North West London Integrated Care Board is a statutory body responsible for planning and allocating health and care resources to improve the lives of people in eight boroughs across North West London. We work with our partners to deliver a wide range of services, including urgent and emergency care, mental health, primary care, elective hospital services, and community care.

Person Specification

  • CCAB/CIMA qualified or equivalent experience.
  • Evidence of post-qualification training and development.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ICB financial regime.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet conflicting deadlines.
  • Good communication skills, written and oral.
  • MS Office advanced user of MS Excel.
  • Use of financial ledger systems in a large organisation.
  • Experience in an NHS or Public Sector finance department.
  • Experience of staff management and recruitment.
  • Significant demonstrable experience in the finance department of a large organisation.
