Financial Operations Manager
This highly regarded professional services firm seeks a skilled Finance and Administration professional to oversee its financial operations. Reporting to the Management board, key responsibilities include:
- Financial Systems and Processes
- Review and evaluate the Firm's accounting systems, processes, and controls and recommend improvements
- Financial Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare statutory accounts for 3 companies and arrange and co-ordinate audit as required
- Manage end of quarter billing process and report to partners
- Treasury and Credit Control
- Maintain Treasury function to optimise interest return and liaise with bank contacts
- Manage credit control function, debtor collection, and fee disputes
- Financial Planning and Analysis
- Direct line responsibility for the performance of the practice accounting staff and credit control staff
- Contractual matters, including insurance, professional indemnity insurance, and equipment hire or finance agreements
- Health and Safety
- Responsible for the Firm's Health & Safety ensuring that all legal obligations met
