Artistic Operations Director

As a key member of the International Arts Manager team, you will play a pivotal role in the administrative, logistical, and welfare aspects of our artistic and production teams. This dynamic position requires a highly flexible, motivated, and efficient individual who is passionate about the arts and our organization's values.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage the administrative tasks of the artistic and production teams, including tracking expenditure and budget management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and best practices, including CDM and management processes.
- Line manage and support the seasonal stage management teams, scheduling and attending production activities, rehearsals, and meetings.
- Liaise with internal and external venues to set up and manage events, and coordinate the handling of petty cash, receipts, and credit cards.
- Assist with the management of ticket requests for creative and production staff, and coordinate the setup of first and last night drinks for the company.
- Demonstrable experience in creative/arts management, coordination, or administrative positions.
- Up-to-date understanding of existing legislation and best practices in production health and safety.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office software and experience with tracking expenditure or budget management.
- An interest in live performance and the arts, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
