Job Title: Maintenance Support Professional

About the Role:

The Maintenance Support Professional will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure the day-to-day maintenance of our care home is carried out efficiently and effectively.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for residents, ensuring all areas are well-maintained and free from hazards.
  • Support the Maintenance Manager in performing routine checks and completing any necessary repairs or maintenance tasks.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and concerns raised by residents, family members, and team members.
  • Take receipt of deliveries and store items related to maintenance.
  • Ensure allocated machinery is kept safe and in working order.

Requirements:

  • Reliable and hardworking individual with flexible working hours, including some weekend shifts.
  • Experience in general maintenance, plumbing, painting, and decorating, carpentry would be beneficial.
  • Sound organisational skills and ability to work independently.
