Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is a reputable private practice of Building Surveyors and Architects based in the New Forest, Southampton area.

Job Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Building Surveyor to join our team on a full time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking planned maintenance, dilapidations, party wall work, project monitoring, project management, building surveys and HMO related work.

What You Will Do
  • Undertake planned maintenance to ensure properties remain in good condition
  • Carry out dilapidations assessments to identify potential issues with buildings
  • Pursue party wall awards to resolve disputes between neighbours
  • Monitor projects from start to finish to ensure they run smoothly
  • Manage projects to bring them in on time and within budget
  • Conduct building surveys to assess the condition of properties
  • Provide expert advice on HMO related matters
Your Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as building surveying or architecture
  • Experience working in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations and codes of practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
