Job Title: Automotive Head of Sales

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Automotive Head of Sales to join our team at KBM Resourcing. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve significant revenue growth and expand our customer base.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to deliver demand generation and increase sales.
  3. Cultivate new relationships with potential clients to increase business market share and revenue.
  4. Ensure customer awareness of our service offerings by engaging with customers frequently and providing exceptional customer service.
  5. Responsible for building a pipeline of opportunities, including one-off projects, partnerships, or continuous revenue streams.
  6. Actively and successfully manage the sales process, including lead generation, strategic positioning of business USPs with customers, technical solution pitches, clarifications, negotiations, and close deals.
  7. Carry out risk assessments when taking on new client accounts and ensure compliance with our company's policies and procedures.
  8. Support the negotiation of client contracts on individual projects or establish frame agreements for repeating services while working within the contracting authority matrix.
  9. Manage and maintain a pipeline and ensure all sales administration is kept current at all times using SalesForce software.
  10. Report all sales activities on a weekly basis during sales team meetings.

  8. Thoughtfulness: Strategic thinking, focused on prioritizing critical tasks and agreed objectives and goals.
  9. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  10. Education: Bachelor's degree in an applicable field.
  11. Experience: Eight to ten years in project and commercial management, negotiation, market research, sales management, closing sales, and developing client relationships.
  12. Keen to learn, adapt, and develop.
  13. Technical knowledge of the automotive industry.

What We Offer

  1. Salary: The salary will be commensurate with your knowledge and experience.
  2. Holidays: 28 days increasing 1 per year up to a max of 33 days per annum.
  3. Pension: 5% Employer & 5% Employee contributions.
  4. Private Medical Insurance: Employee only cover.
  5. Group Life Assurance: 4x base salary.
  6. Hours: 40 hours per week, core hours 8-4:30 pm but we are very flexible within this.
