Customer Service Lead Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Lead Controller to join our team in Warrington. As a key member of our Customer Service management team, you will be responsible for developing and supervising a team to deliver an outstanding service offering in a fast-paced working environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, with experience in leading and managing teams. You will be responsible for providing seamless shift, holiday, and short-notice cover, as well as assisting in the training and development of new and existing staff.

You will also be responsible for reviewing and updating procedures and instructions to ensure they are current and reflect best practice. Additionally, you will investigate new methods and ways of working to improve accuracy and cost efficiency within the team and the business as a whole.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of customer service representatives
  • Develop and implement customer service strategies to improve service quality and efficiency
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members
  • Review and update procedures and instructions to ensure they are current and reflect best practice
  • Investigate new methods and ways of working to improve accuracy and cost efficiency
Requirements:
  • GCSE grade 'C' or above in Maths and English
  • Equivalent of 5 GCSE grade 'C' or above
  • Good level of numeracy and literacy, with a 'can-do' attitude
  • High level of flexibility, commitment, and motivation
  • Able to use own initiative and operate with limited supervision within fixed guidelines
