Job Description

**Job Title:** Programme Director

**Job Summary:**

Innovate is seeking an experienced Programme Director to lead our programme management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing cross-functional teams, managing projects, and ensuring timely delivery of products to consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams to complete projects on schedule, under budget, and with high quality.
  • Process Improvement: Ensure efficient project management methods are regularly used and that the project management procedure is followed.
  • Team Leadership: Set an example for your team by hitting goals and providing coaching to those in less senior positions.
  • Project Scheduling: Precise project scheduling in Microsoft Project, together with publication into the MS Project Server platform.
  • Risk Management: Determine project risk, problems, and dependencies and attempt to resolve them before escalating the situation.
  • Budgeting: Work together with the finance team to create and track a budget, while making sure that pertinent data, like schedule-derived ETCs and factored risk cost exposure, is available and analysed.
  • Reporting: Create dashboards for every project you work on and provide the Senior Leadership Team with a monthly status report.
  • Expertise: A great deal of expertise overseeing engineering projects from bid to production, with a focus on production, for the whole or a portion of the lifespan.
  • Team Inspiration: Proven track record of inspiring teams to complete projects on schedule and under budget.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in using and comprehending project management software, including Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server, and other enterprise project management technologies.

Requirements: Due to the nature of some of the projects you will be working on, you will be eligible, or already hold, security clearance and will be a UK National.
