About the Role

The Head of Commercial and Major Giving will play a key role in driving the growth and success of Sportandrecreation's fundraising efforts. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing young people with a fun and inclusive introduction to golf.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to increase revenue and expand our reach and impact for young people.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including major donors, corporate partners, and community leaders.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, sponsorships, and grants.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop and implement effective marketing and communications strategies to support fundraising efforts.
  • Manage and grow a team of fundraising professionals to achieve fundraising goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in fundraising, with a strong understanding of major giving, corporate partnerships, and community engagement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and results-oriented mindset.
