Learning Disability Educator

We are seeking a qualified SEN Teacher to work with children aged 11-19 who have learning disabilities typically linked to Autism (ASD) in our school setting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Teaching students using strategies and visual methods to promote engagement and understanding.
- Developing and implementing personalized learning plans to meet individual needs.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to share expertise and enhance student outcomes.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A proven track record of achieving academic success
- Extensive knowledge of the curriculum and its adaptation for SEN students
- Experience working with young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- A solid understanding of safeguarding protocols and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think critically and solve complex problems
The salary for this SEN Teacher position is £30,000 - £44,900 per annum, based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including pension, life assurance, health plan, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
