About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our substance misuse services in prisons, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical leadership to the substance misuse team, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based practice and trauma-informed care.
  • Develop and implement effective care planning tools, ensuring a proactive and patient-centered approach to clinical interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with other clinical leads, GPs, and psychiatrists to maintain and review service needs, ensuring seamless care coordination.
  • Ensure the allocation of named care coordinators for patients with complex needs, promoting a proactive and evidence-based approach to clinical interventions.

Requirements
  • Current professional qualification as a Registered RGN, RMN, or MH Practitioner.
  • Leadership and management qualification, with experience of managing staff and implementing change.
  • Non-medical prescribing qualification and RCGP Part 1 and Part 2 certificate in Substance Misuse or equivalent.

Please note that all applicants must be willing to undergo National Security Vetting to work in a prison setting. We require proof of right to work documentation, ID, and address history, as well as a Police Certificate from countries resided in or visited.
