We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Lead for Substance Misuse Services, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical leadership to our substance misuse team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership to the substance misuse team, ensuring the effective delivery of services and the achievement of clinical outcomes.
- Develop and implement innovative practice, ensuring the use of evidence-based approaches and the promotion of trauma-informed care.
- Work closely with the Head of Healthcare to ensure the smooth running of all clinical services across the prison, including primary care, medicines management, and administration services.
- Manage a multi-disciplinary team, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners, including GPs, psychiatrists, and other clinicians, to ensure the effective delivery of services and the achievement of clinical outcomes.
- Ensure the development of a strong clinical pathway for the substance misuse services, working collaboratively with the primary care and psychosocial recovery service to support service users and ensure positive rehabilitation, health, and wellbeing outcomes.
- Current Professional Qualification (Registered RGN, RMN or MH Practitioner)
- Evidence of Leadership/Management qualification
- Non-Medical Prescribing qualification
- RCGP Part 1 and Part 2 certificate in Substance Misuse or equivalent
- Post graduate Advanced Clinical Practice Qualification at masters level
- Previous middle management experience in multi-disciplinary environment delivering healthcare services
- Experience of managing staff
- Experience of service implementation, development, and change management
