Drive Growth and Development of Our Open Access Journals

We are seeking a skilled leader to drive the growth and development of our open access journals publishing portfolio, with a strong focus on increasing journal portfolio revenue and market share.

About the Role:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to increase journal portfolio revenue and market share, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Lead high-performing teams to achieve business objectives, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within IET.
  • BUILD STRONG PARTNERSHIPS WITH AUTHORS, EDITORS, AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS TO DRIVE GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF OUR JOURNAL PORTFOLIO, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative strategies for journal development, marketing, and sales, driving business growth in a dynamic and innovative industry.
  • Maintain strong relationships with authors, editors, and other stakeholders to drive growth and development of our journal portfolio, providing expert guidance on journal development, marketing, and sales strategies.

Requirements:

  • Possess EXPERT KNOWLEDGE of the academic and research publishing sector, with a deep understanding of its trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving business growth in a fast-paced environment, with a competitive salary of up to £69,000 dependent on experience.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including a hybrid working arrangement with regular on-site working at our Stevenage office.
  • Possess STRATEGIC THINKING and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute innovative solutions to complex challenges, contributing to the growth and success of IET.

What We Offer:
