Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Consultant to join our team in Inverness. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for discovering customer needs and matching those with the right product, building trust and rapport with customers, and providing a seamless service experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Listen and talk to customers to uncover their needs and build trust and rapport
  • Be curious to learn and become fluent in Toyota's products and services
  • Match customer to product and maximise opportunities through features and add-ons
  • Guide customers, advise them, and adapt to their approach and buying strategy
  • Encourage customers to experience the product through a test drive
  • Ensure customer issues are resolved along the customer journey
  • Maximise opportunities for sales leads via multiple channels
  • Willingly learn and show an openness to change, new processes, and new ideas
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business, providing a seamless service
  • Represent the Toyota brand and values, proudly serving as an ambassador

Requirements

  • A full UK driving licence
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Flexible to work hours required to carry out the role effectively and take on infrequent travel for work and training purposes
  • High standards of verbal and written communication
  • Good level of general education - at least National 5s in English and Maths and ideally Highers (or equivalent)
  • Good IT skills, (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and social media skills
  • Previous work experience within an automotive sales environment
  • Interests that support your work-life balance
