Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Consultant to join our team in Inverness. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for discovering customer needs and matching those with the right product, building trust and rapport with customers, and providing a seamless service experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Listen and talk to customers to uncover their needs and build trust and rapport
- Be curious to learn and become fluent in Toyota's products and services
- Match customer to product and maximise opportunities through features and add-ons
- Guide customers, advise them, and adapt to their approach and buying strategy
- Encourage customers to experience the product through a test drive
- Ensure customer issues are resolved along the customer journey
- Maximise opportunities for sales leads via multiple channels
- Willingly learn and show an openness to change, new processes, and new ideas
- Collaborate with colleagues across the business, providing a seamless service
- Represent the Toyota brand and values, proudly serving as an ambassador
Requirements
- A full UK driving licence
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Flexible to work hours required to carry out the role effectively and take on infrequent travel for work and training purposes
- High standards of verbal and written communication
- Good level of general education - at least National 5s in English and Maths and ideally Highers (or equivalent)
- Good IT skills, (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and social media skills
- Previous work experience within an automotive sales environment
- Interests that support your work-life balance
