Relief Care Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated Relief Support Worker to join our team in the Durham region. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering person-centred care and supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.
Your main responsibilities will include providing one-to-one support, assisting with daily living tasks, and promoting independence. You'll also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, communicating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, and attending regular supervision meetings.
As a Relief Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to work flexibly across different locations and services, allowing you to gain valuable experience and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Salary and Benefits
Estimated salary: £19,000 - £24,000 per year (dependent on location and experience).

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of person-centred support principles, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs is also required.
You should be able to work effectively in a team environment, prioritise tasks, and maintain accurate records. A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential. If you're passionate about delivering high-quality care and are eager to develop your skills, we encourage you to apply.
