Job Summary

The University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced neurosurgeon to join its team. As a Consultant Neurosurgeon, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of neurosurgical services.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team in the assessment, management, and follow-up of patients with neurosurgery conditions (cranial).
  • Perform on-call emergency and urgent neurosurgical work and participate in the neurotrauma service.
  • Contribute to the development of neurosurgical services and participate in clinical research and audit.

About the Role

As a Consultant Neurosurgeon, you will be based at the Neurosurgery department at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. You will be fully involved in neurosurgical services and will work closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
