About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to join Luminate Education Group as a Fire Safety and Emergency Planning Manager in our Estates & Capital Projects department. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the Group's Fire Safety Strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • To maintain accurate records to meet local and statutory requirements.
  • Lead on the Group's Business Continuity and Emergency Planning procedures by producing appropriate policies, procedures, and guidance documents and maintaining relevant records.
  • To oversee the introduction and implementation of policies and procedures as part of the continual improvement of the safety culture and management systems, ensuring the Group complies with all safety legislative requirements.
Requirements
  • Provide specialist advice on Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPS), ensuring adequate arrangements and facilities are in place for staff or students requiring assistance during evacuation of the Group's premises.
  • Able to interpret fire safety, emergency planning legislation, rules, and standards effectively.
