The Colorectal Department at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Cancer Pathway Manager. This post is crucial in ensuring that patients are seen and treated as part of the Lower GI cancer pathway in a timely fashion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop positive working relationships with all members of the team, liaising in particular with management, Consultants, specialist nurses, and administrative staff.
  • Coordinate appropriate services to maximise the delivery of streamlined diagnostic pathways, thereby improving quality of care and experience for patients and their carers.
About the Role

This role will involve coordinating with management teams and organisational boundaries, whilst linking in with the Cancer Centre, and contributing to plans and developments.

The post holder will be responsible for the review and updating of the Lower GI tracking spreadsheet which informs the cancer pathway.

We are committed to our process of redeploying 'at risk' members of our existing workforce to new roles.

Requirements
  • Knowledge of Trust policies and procedures.
  • Experience of tracking and monitoring patients using information systems.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
