Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Engineer to join our team at Hinkley Point C. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing teams, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring the safe delivery of large-scale construction projects. Your expertise in HVAC systems and experience in major project engineering will be invaluable assets to our team.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage a set area within the Balance of Plant (BOP) on the HPC project
• Ensure the safe delivery of large-scale construction projects, managing teams and developing innovative solutions
• Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project delivery
• Provide regular progress updates and reports to senior management

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Relevant degree in construction or mechanical/electrical engineering, or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 5 years' experience working in a major project engineering (construction) role
• Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with stakeholders
• Experience in the heavy industry or nuclear sectors, and knowledge of NEC ECC Contract, is desirable
