Job Description

We are seeking a Development Project Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our environmental services group, you will be responsible for coordinating environmental inputs to EIA screening and scoping reports, environmental assessments, and supporting documents.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale development projects that are transforming our infrastructure. You will have the chance to contribute to energy generation projects, including carbon capture and storage, hydrogen and renewables; energy distribution and transmission projects; carbon capture pipelines; strategic national and regional rail projects; highway improvements and greenway projects; regeneration projects; and developments within various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise in environmental assessments, EIA screening and scoping reports, and supporting documents.
  • Ensure quality deliverables by maintaining a critical eye for detail.
  • Develop project management skills by coordinating resources and budgets.
  • Collaborate with integrated design teams to improve environmental outcomes.

Requirements:

  • EIA consultancy experience, including coordinating environmental reports and technical reviewing.
  • Project management skills, including programming and budget management.
  • A commitment to innovation and continuing professional development.
  • Efficient verbal and report writing skills, including technical reviewing, and confidence when engaging with stakeholders.

Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum.
