Job Title: Billing Team Leader

Job Summary:

The Billing Team Leader will be responsible for supervising a team of Billing Administrations, ensuring that processes are followed and deadlines are met. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Billing role and supervising a team, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Mentor the Billing Team: Prioritize workloads to meet deadlines, provide guidance and support to team members, and ensure that team goals are met.
  • Assist the Billing Manager: Provide support with ad-hoc requests, manage the team in the absence of the Billing Manager, and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Prepare and Complete Sales Invoices: Ensure that all sales invoices are accurate and completed on time, and that all necessary documentation is in place.
  • Check Daily Accuracy: Verify the accuracy of sales information on a daily basis, and ensure that any discrepancies are addressed promptly.
  • Create New Contracts: Develop and implement new contracts for billing, ensuring that all necessary information is included.
  • Contract Amendments: Process contract amendments in accordance with internal document requests, and ensure that all necessary documentation is in place.
  • Generation and Checking of Billing Runs: Generate and check billing runs in accordance with timetables, ensuring that all necessary information is included.
  • Month End Procedures: Ensure that month-end procedures are followed, and that all necessary deadlines are met.
  • Internal Audit Compliance: Ensure that the team is compliant with internal audit requirements, and that all necessary documentation is in place.
  • Query Resolution: Resolve any queries or issues that arise, and ensure that all necessary information is documented.

Person Specification:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, management, and clients.
  • Proven Track Record: Have a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
