Key Responsibilities:


  • Process laboratory requisitions accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare and label specimens for distribution, ensuring compliance with quality control procedures.
  • Maintain inventory of specimens, ensuring all are accounted for after testing.
  • Retrieve and prepare additional testing and rechecks, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Perform quality control checks and maintain a clean, organized workstation.


Requirements:


  • Proven laboratory experience in a veterinary or clinical setting.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic math, interpretive, and analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and data processing.
