About the Role

Kainos is seeking a highly skilled Senior Workday Payroll Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Workday delivery services, you will be responsible for implementing and configuring enterprise-scale Workday solutions for our global customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project workstreams and build relationships with customers to shape and deliver solutions aligned to customer needs
  • Provide excellent guidance to customers, understanding their business and requirements
  • Support junior members of the team and share knowledge with them
  • Work with customers to implement and configure Workday Payroll solutions, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and business needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Workday Payroll, including US Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence products
  • Experience with Payroll regulatory requirements, retirement benefits, payroll processing, and payroll accounting
  • Excellent customer focus, able to assess customer needs and manage customer expectations
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to formally present to senior client audiences
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of project and business dynamics
  • Broad business and technology understanding, with a good awareness of industry trends in Human Resource management, Financials, or Enterprise Resource Planning

Desirable Qualifications

  • Workday HCM and Payroll Certification, Canadian Payroll Certified (preferred)
  • Professional qualifications in your area of expertise (Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
  • Experience in post-deployment services
