About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday HCM Solution Architect to join our team at Kainos. As a key member of our Workday practice, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Workday solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation and configuration of Workday solutions for our global client base.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Workday products, including HCM and specialist capabilities.
  • Manage relationships with clients and shape solutions that meet their needs, are commercially viable, and fit for purpose.
  • Provide expert consulting and guidance to clients, understanding their business needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Mentor and guide team members in their specialist capabilities, providing thought leadership and innovation.
  • Identify and develop products and offerings that differentiate Kainos in the marketplace.
  • Manage workload, staff allocation, and attrition and retention metrics.
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of Workday products, including HCM and specialist capabilities.
  • Excellent customer focus, able to assess customer needs, build relationships, and manage customer expectations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to communicate with customers and colleagues with impact and credibility.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project and business dynamics.
  • Broad business and technology experience, with a good awareness of industry trends and their potential impact on product.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and make sensible decisions under pressure, taking a balanced view of customer demands and Kainos commercials.
  • Excellent consulting skills, including leading large-scale workshops with multiple stakeholders and liaising confidently and effectively with senior executives.
  • Emerging role model within Kainos and the wider Workday ecosystem.
  • Regular participant in sales activities and responsible for providing input to work estimates.
  • Understanding of risk management and able to manage risk within the capability.
  • Support the operations function to ensure that our consultant pool is used in the most commercially advantageous way, balancing development needs and personal preferences.
  • Commercial understanding of utilization within a services organization and the importance of these targets.
  • Able to rotate through various Workday delivery services, specifically Consulting and Application Management Services.
