About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled pharmacist to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. As an Advanced Pharmacist Specialist, you will play a key role in providing pharmaceutical advice to our acute and respiratory medicine areas.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide pharmaceutical advice to acute and respiratory medicine areas
  • Develop and lead clinical services and projects
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and teaching programs
  • Supervise and mentor junior pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
  • Participate in the pharmacy department's late, weekend, and bank-holiday rotas

Person Specification
  • Master's degree in pharmacy or equivalent
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Postgraduate certificate in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Membership of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain
  • Postgraduate diploma or Master's degree in clinical pharmacy
  • Independent prescribing qualification
