Job Description

As a Physical Activity Teacher for Vulnerable Young People, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging physical education lessons that cater to individual needs of students with complex requirements.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator to make a positive impact and contribute to the growth and development of learners in a specialist setting.

  • Experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs, ADHD, ASD, or other additional needs.
  • A recognized teaching qualification (Certificate in Education / PGCE / QTS).
  • The ability to plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons that meet individual needs.
  • Experience integrating Functional Skills into PE lessons, ensuring students gain essential life skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills to connect with vulnerable young people.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Deliver engaging physical education lessons tailored to individual student needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective lesson plans.
  • $60,000 - $80,000 per annum salary.
